For data protection purposes, we are the data controller and process your personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable data protection laws. VISITORS TO OUR WEBSITE

CUSTOMERS

  1. When you order goods or services from us through our Site, by telephone or by email, we collect details such as your name, address, telephone number, other contact details, order requirements and bank details. We use this information to process your order and meet our contractual obligations.

  2. To perform our contract with you, we may need to share personal data with third parties, such as payment providers and postal services, to help deliver the goods or services you ordered;

  3. We may also use your feedback on our website and in marketing materials, where we have obtained consent if required;

  4. We will keep your information for as long as needed to provide the goods or services you ordered, and for 7 years afterwards. If you subscribe to marketing communications, we will keep your personal data for the period described in section 6 below.

  5. If you visit our premises, we may collect information about your physical wellbeing to ensure it is safe for you and our customers to take part in a tour of our facilities. We will keep this data for 1 year and then delete it.
     

SUPPLIERS

  1. We collect details such as your name, address, telephone number, other contact details and bank details so we can contact you about goods or services, place further orders and pay you for the goods or services supplied. We will keep this personal data for 7 years after the goods or services are provided.

  2. If you carry out work at one of our manufacturing sites, we may ask for details about your wellbeing so we can assess whether you are fit to do the work instructed. We will keep this data for 1 year and then delete it.
     

IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

Where we need to collect personal data by law or under a contract with you, and you do not provide it when requested, we may be unable to perform the contract we have, or are trying to enter into, with you. Forexample, we may be unable to provide goods or services. In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service, but we will notify you at the time.
 

MARKETING

In addition to the uses described above, if you ask to receive marketing communications, subscribe to our mailing lists or newsletters, enter our competitions, or give us your details at networking events, we may use your personal data to send information about our goods, services, business updates and events that may interest you.

  2. You can opt out of receiving this information at any time by:

    1. ticking the relevant box on the form where we collect your information;

    2. clicking the unsubscribe button in any marketing communication; or

  3. Where you have subscribed to marketing communications, we will keep your personal data for 3 years from the date you are given the opportunity to opt out.
     

MONITORING AND RECORDING

We may monitor and record communications with you, such as telephone calls and emails, for quality assurance, training, fraud prevention and compliance. We also use CCTV at our premises for crime prevention and health and safety purposes. We retain this information for 7 days.
 

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  1. We will only use your personal data where the law allows. Most commonly, we use it:

    1. to perform a contract with you;

    2. where needed to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation; and

    3. for our legitimate interests, as described in this policy, where your interests and fundamental rights do not override them.
       

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

  1. In addition to the third parties mentioned above, we may disclose your information where it is in our legitimate interests to do so, including:

We may disclose personal data to the police, regulatory bodies, legal advisers or similar third parties where we are legally required to do so, need to enforce our website terms and conditions or other agreements, or need to protect our rights, property, customers, or others. DATA SECURITY

Data protection law may allow or require us to refuse access to some or all of your personal data, or to refuse requests made under the rights described above. If we cannot provide access or process another request, we will explain why, subject to any legal or regulatory restrictions.

RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT

Where you have consented to the collection, processing or transfer of your personal data, you may have the legal right to withdraw that consent in certain circumstances. We will not usually process your data based on consent unless we clearly tell you this, for example where we want to display your feedback and name on our website or in marketing materials.
